Mr.Terrence W. Glarner
Glarner is founder of West Concord Ventures Inc., a venture capital company. He has been the company’s president since February 1993. He also consults with Norwest Equity Capital.
Previously, Glarner was with North Star Ventures Inc., a venture capital fund, for 17 years, serving as president from 1988 to 1993. While at North Star, he supervised investments in approximately 100 small companies. From 1968 to 1976, Glarner was a securities analyst and vice president in the research department of Dain Bosworth Inc.
Glarner serves as a director for Aetrium (provider of test and handling solutions for the world’s semiconductor and electronic component industry), Bremer Financial Corp., FSI International Inc. (global supplier of equipment technology and support services for microelectronics manufacturing), NVE Corp. (developer of devices that use spintronics nanotechnology to acquire, store and transmit information) and Oncotech (provides testing and research for discovering and developing diagnostic and pharmaceutical products for cancer patients).
In addition to being a chartered financial analyst, Glarner holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul and a juris doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School.
