Changes for the Indicators Website!
For eight years, this site has served as an aggregator of public statistics for several states in the Upper Midwest and Pacific Northwest. The data came from more than half a dozen sources including the U.S. Census Bureau, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs. The Northwest Area Foundation is proud to have supported the University of Idaho in developing and launching the project with an eight-state perspective in 2002; however, because of the Foundation’s new strategic direction, the University will now assume full support for this important resource. This includes resetting its scope: going forward the site will provide data and maps for counties, Native American tribes and reservations in Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. It will be online by the end of June 2010. Look for Indicators Northwest at http://www.indicatorsnorthwest.org.
