Natalie Camacho Mendoza manages her own law firm in Boise, Idaho, specializing in business law, employment law, worker’s compensation defense, American Indian law, and civil rights litigation. She is licensed to practice law in Idaho, Texas, Shoshone-Pauite Tribal Court, and Coeur d'Alene Tribal Court.

Camacho Mendoza received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Idaho State University, and a law degree from Washburn University School of Law in Kansas. She was awarded the Washburn University President's Scholarship and was named to the Who's Who Among American Law Students in 1988 and 1989.

Just one month after earning her law degree, Camacho Mendoza was appointed by Gov. Cecil Andrus to the Commission on Hispanic Affairs in Idaho. She has lobbied for farm worker, immigrant, Latino and Native American issues. She also volunteered as president of Image de Idaho, an advocacy group for the Latino community and the education of its youth. She chaired Idaho’s Hispanic Issues Training Conference several times; the conference addressed important issue facing Idaho’s Hispanic Community.  She also served as the Co-Chair for the capital campaign for the creation of the Hispanic Cultural Center of Idaho. In 2008, she was named Women of the Year by the Idaho Business Review and has received recognition from the Tri-State NAACP for her commitment to equality.  Natalie Camacho Mendoza also serves in the Idaho Criminal Justice Commission, to which she was appointed by Gov. Butch Otter
