Video: Listening and Learning from Community in Idaho
We heard directly from Idaho communities about how to stand alongside them as funders.
In Idaho, we kicked off our first-ever solidarity summit to listen and learn from grantee partners and community leaders about how we can be stronger funding partners. Among the reflections we heard were insights on the need for affordable housing, farmworker labor, LGBTQ+ belonging, Native language revitalization, and self-determination. Community-led solutions to our most pressing challenges already exist, and stronger support can help these solutions flourish.
Hear from CEO Kevin Walker, Program VP Pakou Hang, and board members Laura Alvarez Schrag and Salome Mwangi as they capture how we intend to build deeper relationships and stand alongside communities as funders.
