Dr. Duane Carter has spent his career in financial services leading operations and strategic planning. He has over 15 years of executive leadership experience, most recently as a senior vice president at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.
He began his career in retail banking and business development. He’s also led human resources and has extensive experience heading up high-performance teams, developing training, and creating a culture of inclusion.
Carter is currently an adjunct professor in the Leadership and Change MBA program at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. He also serves on the board of directors for Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis.
He received a doctor of education degree in organization development and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, and a bachelor’s degree in agriculture business from the University of Minnesota.
