“Celebrate and honor yourself for the journey you are on—past, present, and future.” — Qwiy
Qwiy (12 Tribes/ShoBan) is the primary point of contact between the Foundation’s CEO and its staff, external contacts, and partners. As liaison to the Foundation’s board of directors, she coordinates quarterly meetings, retreats, and committee meetings. She also manages projects out of the president’s office and assists in governance oversight.
Previously, Qwiy served the largest tribal government in Washington State for over 14 years in administration, governance, human resources, and public safety. Her community outreach efforts centered on health and human services.
She is dedicated to individual development, cultural resiliency, identity, and honoring traditional ways. As a way to pass down her cultural and traditional knowledge, she developed “Traditional Tuesdays,” a holistic health and wellness program focused on physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual connectivity.
Qwiy is passionate about teamwork and brings a wonderful contribution of knowledge, skills, and abilities that align with the values and mission of the Foundation.
